ToggleUsing WooCommerce pre-orders is a recommended strategy to give customers the option of ordering products ahead of time, even before they are officially available. By utilizing this functionality, you can leverage the urgency to attract customers, engage them with your brand, and generate early cash flow to fund production, advertising, or marketing campaigns. You can automatically or manually release and fill orders when you’re ready and let the extension handle the rest!
Enabling WooCommerce Pre-Orders
First, please head over to the ShopPress menu > Modules > Pre-Order and activate it.

WooCommerce Pre-Orders Settings
Now, click on the Config button to enter the Pre-Order settings.

In this section, you will find the pre-order settings. You have the option to modify all pre-order-related labels, including countdown, price, cart, and more.
Implementing Pre-Order for a product
After configuring the pre-order settings, kindly proceed to the product of your choice that you intend to offer for sale prior to its official release.
In the Product Data section, you can now see that a ShopPress Pre-Order tab has been added.

In order to get started, it is essential to activate the Pre-Order option for the particular product. Following this step, you will need to specify the release date and time in the designated tab. Lastly, you can set the desired price for the product.
That’s it. Now, you will see the Pre-Order countdown on your single product page.
